As the first photo (from Mike Smith) shows, the mast is some distance from the nearest road and surrounded by woods

Wayne's photos were taken with the assistance of Radio Hafren during a site visit.

Radio Maldwyn launched on 1-Jul-1993 on 756 kHz. This became Radio Hafren on Christmas Day 2010, but closed on 11-Feb-2015.
