This site is rather difficult to photograph as there is no easy angle to get a really good view of both masts. The aerial is arranged to be directional east across Nottingham, on a bearing of 110.

Trowell was built by the BBC to provide an MF service for Radio Nottingham in 1973 on 1520 kHz. ILR Nottingham (Radio Trent) launched on 3rd July 1975 on 998 kHz. Radio Nottingham closed in the spring of 1992. INR 2 (Virgin Radio) launched on 30th April 1993 on 1197 kHz.
