Comments: Used to carry ILR on 96.2 MHz, until April 2010. tx site moved to St. Albans VHF (St. Peters Church).

Roger commented: "The St Albans Community Radio aerial is on a pole which is wall mounted on the back of a shop near St Albans City station. It's not the best of locations as it's shielded from 300° to 30° by the higher ground of the city centre."

We understand the new tx site was brought into use in April 2010.






The antenna was a Lindenblad design, one of just a handful in use by CR stations in the UK...

...and was just visible from St Albans City railway station
