Rob: A couple of snaps of (Lincoln Swan Pool) here. See if you can make anything useful of them for the site. It at least shows the configuration of the Tx antennas, if nothing else. The site is located on a track behind some rather rough industrial estate buildings, on the edge of Lincoln. Driving along the access road lead me to a dead end at a train track, and being pushed for both time and light, I chose to snap from where I was. Better pictures will no doubt be needed in future!
Now the question here is, did Rob arrive at a bad time, or just the right time? I think the first shot is actually fantastic, and I have out it in the Desktop Wallpaper section.
There are isolators on both sets of supporting wires but as far as I can see there's no wire aerial element here, just the two presumably active, phased monopoles. |
