Salford City Radio's transmitter site is in Swinton, a small town between Manchester and Bolton.

As always with modest installations on multiple user sites the problem is identifying the correct installation. This looks to be an end fed vertical for transmit and a horizontal band I dipole for STL receive.

On the opposite side of the building this looks similar to a Veronica transmit aerial, but is more likely to be a 145MHz colinear used by the Radio Amateur Emergency Network.

Salford City Council look to have renamed the building as the Salford Civic Centre.

It's definitely the right building, though, with the Swinton Shopping Centre directly across the road.

The late Fred Dibnah's workshop is nearby and is now a heritage centre
