DAB added - September 2017

BBC national DAB entered service on the 17th September 2010 at Drumcarrow Craig.

One of the larger tower. The antennas at the bottom of the tower receive signals from Dundee Law (the smaller antenna) and Durris (the larger antenna) whilst the antenna at the top of the tower transmits to Kirk O Shotts.

[Ed] It is unlikely that these SHF contribution links are still in use.

DAB aerials on the smaller tower.

2 band III dipoles for DAB transmit on cantilever pole.

The smaller tower to which the DAB aerials are mounted. DAB signals received via the satellite dish.

Seeing more and more of these on Tx sites. They are for the transmission and receipt of data for Smart meters.
