This is one of a group of sites along the A3049 corridor, an area I believe is known as Canford Bottom. Each site provides a distinct service - in this case it's the Community Radio Station Hot 102.8 (previously The Bay) Two other FM services have their transmitters within about a mile - there's also a TV relay!

The site as viewed from Old Wareham Road...

...the licence application refers to a folded dipole - assumed to be the one roughly in the centre of this photo (A better view may be possible from Albion Close, if anyone is down that way)
