This is one of two additional sites identified in the South Hampshire DAB Coverage Plan, the other is Ventor on the Isle of Wight. The site consists of two towers set on a hillside above the M27 motorway and the Southampton to Fareham railway line. The DAB aerials are located on the eastern mast facing approximately due north. Editor's note: the planning application for the site included an SHF dish on bearing 099 which would indicate the programme feed is likely to be from Fort Southwick (or Portsdown Hill if the proposed swap has now occurred)
