The site is located on the chimney of a house on the edge of Sacriston village, overlooking the city of Durham.

[Ed]. A somewhat complicated array of aerials here. I don't believe that the white pole at the top is broadcast related. Google Streetview from 2010 shows this aerial already attached to the chimney, while Ofcom data gives a service date of January 2018 for this FM transmitter. At the bottom of the pole is a four element band II yagi which is pointing in a southerly direction. This is likely to be the receive aerial pointing towards Sun FM's Darlington (Harrowgate Hill) transmitter. The UHF yagi's on the other chimney are pointing northwest towards Pontop Pike. Therefore the aerials in the middle of the pole are for transmit. These seem to comprise of a two element horizontal yagi pointing roughly southeast towards Durham City Centre and another yagi pointing roughly southwest with two vertical and one horizontal element.

Viewed from the other side of the roof.

The view from the site, looking towards Durham.

Durham Cathedral and the University Hospital of North Durham as seen from the site.
