The broadcast antenna for 106.8 FM is at the top of a 30 foot pole located on a barn. At 25 watts, this extends Sun FM into the towns of Bishop Auckland and Spennymoor. On the day of my visit, I noticed that the signal did not broadcast RDS. The yagi at the bottom points towards Haining to receive the 103.4 FM signal, which is then rebroadcast via the two vertical dipoles further up the pole.
