At the time of writing the new community radio station for Northampton; Revolution Radio on 96.1 MHz is not yet on air (though test transmissions have taken place), the transmitter set up is complete and is located on the National Lift Tower.

(Full time broadcasting commenced 12th June 2021)

The tower is 127.5m tall. This is viewed from The Approach/Stand Side.

The top of the tower hosts various broadband equipment. The transmit aerial for Revolution Radio is the end-fed dipole to the left.

(The string lamps were later removed).

A close up of the transmit dipole. The dish below and slightly to the left is not related to the radio station.
