Otford is a small relay enclosed by trees on the edge of the north downs up on the east side of the Darent valley It stands with fantastic views over the Kent Weald and the Sussex / Surrey downs. This former BBC landlord site entered service in August 1980 to serve about 1800 people. Channel 4 was added on 6-Jun-1986. The London 2 DAB multiplex was transmitted from Otford from November 2000 until November 2010.
