Leicester small scale DAB began testing on 9th March 2023 with the multiplex fully launching on 19th March 2023. Transmit is from Maxfield House, a tower block in the Highfields area of the city.

Maxfield House is the tower block on the left. The building on the right is Melbourne Road Community Centre, which is where community station Radio Seerah (1575 kHz), have their studio.

The transmit aerial for 9B is the dipole mounted at the top of the building.
