Comments: Burbage is a relay of Winter Hill (via Buxton)

In the southwest part of Buxton is a small relay serving (probably) the area on the hill directly on the side of the hill screened from Buxton itself. I couldn't see any aerials pointing to it, but from the photo it seems likely. On Holmfield is a small pathway between houses that leads to Buxton Country Park. The transmitter is located on a wooden pole in a corner of the field nearest the road behind some trees.

Burbage was originally a BBC landlord site which entered service in December 1987.

Buxton Country Park (the main Buxton mast is just peeking out from behind the ridge to the right of where the smoke is rising)
