Comments: Shatton Edge is a relay of Emley Moor (via Tideswell Moor)

Shatton Edge is a 200 W (in analogue days 1 kW) UHF relay of Emley Moor (via Tideswell Moor) serving the rural Hope Valley and surrounding area, including the Derwent valley, in the Derbyshire Peak District.

At 413 m, the aerial is the second highest of the relays of Emley Moor. The very hilly terrain in the region is a challenge for TV coverage. The small village of Hope, in the valley bottom less than two miles away has its own 2.4 W relay.
