January 2006

This site is situated in small clump of trees in a corner of Verulamium Park.

The transmit aerials are pointing to a part of St. Albans shielded from the Crystal Palace by high gound

The horizontally polarised receive aerial on the top is pointing at Crystal Palace whilst there is a verticaly polarised one further down the pole pointing at Hemel Hempstead. Anyone know why?

St. Albans was originally a BBC landlord site which entered service on 1-Mar-1985 to serve 950 people.
