The Hasland UHF relay is situated two miles E/SE of Chesterfield town centre. This TX is in fact a low power dependant of another relay - the main Chesterfield TX - which itself is a dependant of Emley Moor. There is yet another relay in the town, that of Brockwell.

Hasland was originally an IBA landlord site which entered service on 25-May-1979 to serve about 1800 people. Channel 4 was added on 20-Jun-1986.

There is no record of who submitted the first four pictures, so if the photographer would like to be named please let us know.

The original RBL source was Emley Moor, hence the single horizontal log periodic.
