Show historic services

2009

4.8 miles from Emley Moor, Hagg Wood serves households in and between the villages of New Mill, Brockholes and Honley that are too low for line of sight to the main transmitter. Although the site is open to the rear, the "business end" is best photographed from the other, wooded side of the site, hence the branches encroaching into one of the pictures.

Hagg Wood was originally an IBA landlord site which entered service on 29-Jun-1979 to serve 1,750 people. Channel 4 was added on 9-May-1986.
