Show historic services

Keighley Town serves an area of the town that lies on the north side of the River Aire which is shielded from the main Keighley transmitter. It entered service in December 1979.

The transmitter is located on the rooftop of Leylands House.

Two UHF log periodics. The upper is transmit and is pointing north-northeast. The lower is receiving from the main Keighley transmitter, which just happens to lie in almost the same direction. Just slightly more towards the north.

Yep, that's the main Keighley relay over there, that is!
