Show historic services

Located to the south of Glasgow, this substantial tower is topped with a stack of dipoles. The feed is quite low down and consists of four toed-in logs. I wonder what local factors influenced this arrangement?

Originally a BBC landlord site, Netherton Braes entered service in August 1980 with Channel 4 added in July 1985.
