This is in continuation of Bill Wright's article on Strathyre. I was able to get up to the top of the mountain to take closer photos. Unfortunately, the weather was nasty that day (and most of the week I was in the locality), but it was the only day I could go up. Strathyre Link went into service in the mid 1990's. DSO was on the 8th and 22nd June 2011.

This is the mast close-up. Top array aimed at Black Hill, bottom array aimed down towards the village transmitter.

The antennas on the top pulling in signal from Black Hill.

The array aimed back down towards the Strathyre Tx.

Bottom of the mast - some plastic huts and an array of solar panels on the right. I was reliably informed that there is a diesel generator and tank in one/some of those "huts"
