| This one's taken a long time to get into the gallery. Phil's commentary might explain why: "I couldn't find the way up to this one that easily. I parked by the foot of a steep hill side, which my assistant and I scaled in about 20mins. Once at the top, there were a few fences to get over and we were right by the compound which housed this site. I did want to get pictures of the site from a different angle, but due to its geographical location and the high fence, I couldn't." Rhymney was originally a BBC landlord site which entered service with BBC 1 & 2 in January 1973 to serve 16,000 people. ITV was added on 2-Mar-1973, with S4C available from the 1-Nov-1982 launch. DSO was on the 3rd and 31st March 2010. BBC national FM radio was added on 13-Dec-1991 and BBC national DAB from 7-Sep-2009. |
