Comments: Blackmill is a relay of Wenvoe

The Blackmill Tx site is located within Bryn-y-Wrach common, at the end of an unsurfaced track. I wouldn't recommend anyone driving here without a suitable 4x4 or off-road vehicle.

It provides TV broadcasts to the small communities of Blackmill, Pant-ry-Awel and Lewistown via two pairs of panels located at the top of the tower, and receives Wenvoe by means of a Horizontal Trough antenna.

Originally an IBA landlord site, TV channels 1 - 3 entered service on 30th July 1976, with S4C available from the launch on 1st November 1982. DSO was on 3rd and 31st March 2010.

I could also see a great view of the next site on my list... LLangeinor.
