| Dowlais has had a new panel type receive aerial added for reception of Wenvoe. Also, in preparation for 700 MHz band clearance, the transmit aerials were replaced in August 2018. The channel allocations at Dowlais are expected to move from upper band V to upper band IV in May 2019. |
| The new receive panel aerial is just below the existing twin log periodic receive aerials. |
| [Ed]. I suspect that the inter-tier spacing of the new transmit aerials has been widened. This is done to maintain a similar VRP at the future lower transmit frequencies. |
