Jordy commented: The strangest thing was the number of people in Conlig village with aerials fixed on this Tx, Conlig village is behind the Tx aerials so they shouldn't be getting much benefit from it - either someone was playing a joke on them or there's an aerial contractor selling false hope in North Down.

However, a former resident of Conlig explained: Having once lived in Conlig village I can explain that due to the topography there, the majority of the houses in the village are able to receive transmission from Cambret Hill Tx in Scotland. Comes in handy for watching Scottish Cup Final matches I suppose. It is just coincidence that they appear to be trained onto the Conlig Tx!

Conlig was originally an NTL landlord site which entered service in the mid 1990's.
