Comments: Poulner is a relay of Rowridge

Show historic services

June 2008, updated August 2018

There's nothing exciting about the site, just two logs on the church roof. As seen in most of the shots,
the left hand one is the Rx for Rowridge, right hand the Tx for the area of Ringwood called, funnily enough, Poulner, about two miles NE of the site.

An unusual feature is it's an HP relay, probably because it shares its channels with Canford Heath, about 12 miles away and in exactly the same direction for most of the service area.

Dan visited In August 2018 and viewed from the main car park in Ringwood, north west from the site...

...the receive log (left) is now vertically polarised. A VP component was added during DSO at Rowridge to offer some relief against co-channel interference from France and a number of relays now take advantage of this option.
