Local TV - October 2015

Since the earlier pictures were taken, local TV aerials have been added at Bristol (Ilchester Crescent). Also the redundant Radio Bristol aerials have been removed.

Bristol Local TV entered service on 10th February 2014.






Two tiers of crossed log periodics for the Local TV transmit.


Compared with the earlier pictures, the dipoles that formed the Radio Bristol transmit aerials have been removed, although the screening cage remains.


Mendip UHF receive yagis. Unusual for a site of this vintage not to have trough receive aerials.


On the left, twin band II log periodics for BBC FM radio receive, pointing towards Wenvoe.


This band II yagi was the receive aerial for Radio Bristol, pointing towards Mendip.
