Comments: Bruton is a relay of Mendip

This is a fairly hard site to find and photograph as it is well hidden by trees and not readily visible from Bruton itself. It was also impossible to take any photos of the target area from near the site. It makes me wonder how much signal gets through the trees in the summer.

Bruton is in a valley with hills to the north shielding the lower parts of the town. Elsewhere most aerials pointed towards Mendip with a few towards Stockland Hill (which is in line with the valley).

Originally an IBA landlord site, TV channels 1 - 3 entered service on 7th July 1978, with Channel 4 from December 1986. DSO was on the 24th March and 7th April 2010.
