Comments: Chalford Vale is a relay of Mendip (via Chalford)

A couple pictures of the Chalford Vale TV relay. It's situated over the road from the Chalford relay, and takes its feed from Chalford. The aim of this transmitter is to cover the few people who live in the valley which is shielded from Chalford. A friend bet me £10 that I couldn't find this relay, but after a lot of searching I did - it's very well hidden amongst the trees! So Peter, where is my tenner?! As it is very well hidden, getting a good shot is difficult. That TARDIS was buzzing away loudly, and I've only just noticed how shiny it was - you can see the photographer in one picture!!

The year was 1991
