Comments: Gartly Moor is a relay of Durris, and is also the first hop in the SHF link feeding BBC TV services from Durris to Rosemarkie,
via Gartly Moor and Knock More. Pre B700 allocations: 58/49/54.

A few pictures of Gartly Moor, one of the sites on your "hit list". Hope they're of some use. The weather wasn't great up on the moor for taking pictures and sadly there was no signage at all to photograph at the site.

(I don't know about that, I'd say it was quite good weather for taking photos myself! -mb)

Originally an IBA landlord site, UHF TV channel 1 - 3 entered service on 8th February 1974, with Channel 4 from October 1985. DSO was on 1st and 15th September 2010.

The first set of pictures are from AWS.

These last two pictures are from Lewis Walker, taken in February 2015.

This site is now included in the Update List for the following reason:
Detail : tv rx antennas, new BBC DAB installation March 2015
