Show historic services

Updated April 2014

Elham was originally an IBA landlord site which entered service on 18-Apr-1986 to serve 480 people.

As with Lyminge, planning approval was sought in 2011 for a VSAT dish (at 15m). In reality the only addition has been the electricity metering cabinet!

Above and below: earlier photos from Dave Coppen

April 2014: the planning Notice was still in place. No holly on Holly Hill in the spring - but plenty of bluebells

No VSAT dish. As noted in the planning officer's report the site is well screened and only the top of the structure shows above the tree line

No change to the antennas

The new metering cabinet is hidden behind the base of the tower. The structure seemed to have been painted recently

Perhaps due to being in the shade, the sign on the equipment enclosure has remained legible for a change
