Show historic services

The first photo, from Mike Smith, is annotated to indicate the transmit and receive antennas - however my interpretation after visiting in May 2011 is slightly different.

Ascott under Wychwood entered service on the 25th March 1983. DSO was on the 14th and 28th September 2011.

This looks to me as though it's three pairs of crossed logs (right hand side) with three single logs providing a second lobe (left hand side).

Four toed-in logs for receive - marginal signal?

The transmit array in more detail.
