Comments: Llandecwyn is a TV relay of Llanddona (via Arfon)

Llandecwyn is situated towards the northern end of a mountain range called the Rhinogs. It provides UHF TV coverage to Porthmadog, Penrhyndeudraeth and the lower part of the Vale of Ffestiniog, where mountains screen the signal from the main TV site in the area, Arfon.

Originally a BBC landlord site, UHF TV channels 1 - 3 entered service on 30th July 1976, with S4C available from the launch on 1st November 1982. DSO was on 21st October and 18th November 2009.

BBC national FM radio was added in August 1995 and BBC DAB entered service 18th September 2009.

The band II RBL log, on the right of the tower points towards Ffestiniog.
