August 2011 - New DAB antennas

Having seen the list of sites due to have BBC National DAB added before the end of the year I was aware that Greenhill would shortly be equipped.

As I was passing the site this weekend I managed to steal a quick picture which shows the DAB antennas in-situ right at the top of the mast above the UHF panels. There was also a new satellite receive dish at the base of the mast on the southern side.

The DAB antennas have been installed at the very top of the mast above the UHF panels.

Pembroke Power Station next door is being rebuilt as a gas powered station. The chimneys are much shorter than the old oil fired station so RBL from Presely should be possible. However, Greenhill remains a Carmel relay for TV.
