Comments: Halesowen is a relay of The Wrekin. Pre-B700 allocations: 58/49/54; power to be doubled at B700 switch.

March 2010

The Halesowen relay can be found behind some trees on the western side of the B4551, approximately 350yds from its junction with the A456 and A459.

The trees shroud the tx from the road but a footpath passes right by the tx site. The tx faces west, any eastern rx would be affected by the trees. The horizontal log would be the rx from The Wrekin. Below the rx log is an additional vertical log, this is pointing in roughly the correct direction for the Brierley Hill tx (SC relay).

The Brierley Hill tx seems to be used in the immediate area, homes just on the other side of the island north on the A459 appear to have vertical yagis pointing at it.

View from the south side showing the tx crossed logs at the top, lower down is the horizontal receive log and an extra vertical log.

From the north side through the trees showing tx logs, horizontal receive and extra vertical log.

Facing west underneath the tx, shows the expected tx area.

Facing east in front of the tx showing tx logs and rx log.

Facing east, the tx site including equipment cabinet.

Facing south the horizontal rx log and extra vertical log.

Facing north the tx logs and rx log.

Facing south-east the tx logs and rx log.

Facing north the equipment cabinet, showing the footpath behind.
