DAB added - August 2016

Since the earlier pictures were taken BBC DAB has been added at Mynydd Pencarreg.

BBC National DAB entered service on 29th February 2016.

Two band III dipoles have been added at the top (102m) for DAB transmit.

Through the fence the satellite dish providing the DAB programme feed.

GPS aerials on the side of this building would indicate that this is where the transmitter is.

The UHF panels unchanged. They face west and northeast.

Twin 18 element UHF Yagis pointing at Presely for the TV programme feed.

The BBC FM radio transmit aerials. The pair of logs on the right are pointing roughly southeast, the other pair to the west. There is a third single log round the other side of the mast pointing roughly northeast.

On the left is the single northeast pointing band II log. Above, on the right is the ILR (Radio Ceredigion) transmit aerial.

A phased pair of slant polarised band II folded dipoles for ILR transmit.

FM radio receive aerials both pointed towards Blaenplwyf. The horizontal band II log will be the BBC aerial and the vertical band II Yagi for ILR.
