Bill Wright was the first mb21 contributor to visit the site.

Creetown is close to the Cambret Hill transmitter but is in the shadow of the hill. A couple of miles across Wigtown Bay is Wigtown, and the Creetown transmitter site is there, just to the north of the town. As you might expect all the six log-periodic tx aerials point across the water to Creetown. Possibly the vertical stack of six helps with tidal fading.
Access is along Lovers Walk, from the junction of Beddie Cres and Church Lane.
