ALSTON

Alston in Cumbria, a Pontop Pike relay. The transmitter site is about 1 mile northeast of the centre of Alston at 500m above sea level at the top of a hill called Newshield Moss. The track leading up to the site rises 100m vetically from start by the B6294. Fortunately it winds its way up the hillside with only one steeper pitch. |
