HASTINGS

Photos by Martin Brown Page last updated: 2023-07-20

July 2023

It's been 12 years since Peter Vrakking and Dan Glover visited Hastings in 2011, so time for a revisit.

There are now only two UHF cylinders at the top.

There are two separate band III DAB transmit aerial systems. Ofcom data indicates that the BBC mux is transmitted from the folded dipole cardioid array, with all of the other DAB muxes transmitted from the two
5 element Yagis.

Two separate sets of band II transmit panels of different designs. The upper tier of panels transmit both ILR programmes, while the lower tier transmits all of the BBC FM radio services.

UHF receive on Heathfield for RBS.
