CONTRIBUTING TO THE TRANSMISSION GALLERY
THE HIT-LIST AND THE UPDATE HIT-LIST
The hit list is a list of the UK broadcast transmission sites not yet represented on this site. In addition to this we now also have an update list which contains sites which have been flagged as likely to need updating. It's hard to be definitive about this but updates are likely to be flagged as desirable if it's thought that the quality or detail of the photos could be improved or that the site itself may have changed ignificantly since the current photos were taken. Obvious cases are where work in connection with Digital Switchover is known to have occurred. No criticism of the contributors' work is intended.
A form has been added on individual gallery pages for you to suggest why you think photos ought to be updated.
Of course photo subbissions and updates don't happen by magic and if you are able to visit any site, whether on the hit-lists or not, and take better, more up-to-date photos we would be pleased to receive them. The Contribute section of the web site has full details about how to submit your photos.
