April 2005 - the temporary mast nears completion

5-Apr-2005: The new antenna array appears complete and now has feeders attached. A rigger was still up there when these pics were taken. Transmissions are still coming from the temporary installation on top of the BT tower (which is probably a good idea if fried rigger isn't on the menu today!).




BELOW: Over the road, the old mast has now been removed all except for one short section (which looks like it might actually be the remains of the old aerials) and the buildings have been demolished too. All that remains now is the old generator house which wasn't hit by falling debris.
