DAB and ILR added - August 2016

Since Rob Shufflebotham's visit in November 2008, BBC National DAB and ILR have been added and Digital Switchover has happened for the TV services. The TV link from Blaenplwyf via Llangurig has been discontinued and Long Mountain is now line fed. Service dates: BBC DAB, 13th November 2009; ILR (originally Real Radio, now Heart FM), December 2010.

Ofcom data indicates that the ILR service shares these 2 Alan Dick & Co, circularly polarised band II panel aerials with the BBC services.

Top right, a 4 element band II Yagi most likely used for ILR RBL. Lower down are the 2 BBC band II log periodics receiving Llangollen. Judging by the pointing angles I recon the ILR service (Heart FM), is RBL Wrexham Rhos.
