While not being the tallest building in Birmingham (the honour of which currently goes to the BT Tower), Metropolitan House sits at the top of a ridge running through Birmingham city centre.
Somewhere along the line, the Lindenblad array seems to have been changed for another of different type. The old Lindenblad was similar to the one at City Tower in Manchester, which probably dates back to when both stations were Galaxy. I remember going past this site a couple of years back and seeing one of the familiar Sira dipole antennas, but I can't remember exactly how long ago that was to say when this change took place. |
