DAB added - March 2017

I can't match the views of the previous photos, however, there are more changes than just the addition of DAB - it appears the UHF cylinder has changed or repainted white.

[Ed] We understand that it was repainted in October 2013.










The band III DAB transmit aerials. BBC national DAB entered service on 27th May 2014, at 300 watts.


UHF receive troughs looking at Winter Hill.




GPS cone receive aerials used for the DAB timing reference.


Satellite receive dish for the incoming BBC DAB programme feed.
