Some clearer and updated photos following site takeover by Fosse 107 in July 2016. The engineering company is now Maxxwave. Was originally Arqiva. There are further works planned with respect to the TX antenna to move it and reduce ICNIRP limits on and around rooftop.
The site used to be Kilostream fed, but Kilostream is now withdrawn as a BT product and is also very expensive. Consequently this site is now IP fed, using Maxxwave STL streamer, with 4G and microwave backhaul (seamless changeover). The microwave link route is Hinckley Studio, Hinckley TX, Markfield, Skeffington, Loughborough Uni, with several redundant spurs, using existing microwave network. |
