New transmit aerial - February 2018

The vertically polarised transmit aerial was replaced at Sutton on the 30th November 2017 in preparation for
700 MHz band clearance. Sutton is expected to move from UHF channels 59/55/50 to 33/36/48 on the
21st March 2018.

Balaam House. Re-clad since Robert visited in 2007.

The new vertically polarised transmit aerial with the Crystal Palace receive log periodic below. The Tx aerial faces roughly northeast.

Before on the left. After on the right.

Round the other side the two horizontal transmit logs can be seen.

The horizontally polarised transmit log periodics pointing roughly southeast. These look quite shiny, as does the bracket with the power divider, so I suspect that these have been replaced as well.
