HOPE UNDER DINMORE

Photos by Martin Brown Page last updated: 2020-09-27

New transmit aerial - September 2020

The original four tier open cardioid transmit aerial was replaced with this cylinder for 700 MHz band clearance (B700), during August 2017. The B700 clearance channels changes at Hope under Dinmore were implemented on 31-Oct-2018.

The four UHF yagis used to receive the programme feeds from Ridge Hill remain unchanged.

Clearly the adhesive used on 'one's' is not as good as on the other numbers. The site number is actually 149.16. Hope under Dinmore is in Herefordshire, England, but the dual language "No Smoking" sign is an indication that the Arqiva maintenance base is probably at Wenvoe.
