| July 2007 and there is a hive of activity going on up at Winter Hill as bits of the top lattice tower are on the ground (panels, shroud sections etc). New panel antennas have appeared towards the top of the mast and there is lots of new building work going on. This, of course, is all work to prepare Winter Hill for Digital Switchover. But we start with a photo of the Winter Hill Air Disaster memorial plaque. Mike says: "It's had a bit of spit and polish since last time I was up here". |
