Horizontal polarisation added - January 2022

Following the fire at Bilsdale in August 2021 a horizontally polarised beam was added at Bainbridge on 29-Nov-2021 transmitting on the same channels as the existing vertical transmissions. The Freeview website gives an ERP of 200W for this HP beam. The VP ERP has also been increased from 7.6W to 25W.

Two horizontally polarised log periodics have been added. They are pointing west towards Hawes.

The new HP transmit logs close up.

The wonky 4 tier vertically polarised cardioid remains unchanged.

Satellite dishes have been added to provide the programme feeds.
