| Following the fire at Bilsdale in August 2021 a horizontally polarised beam was added at Seaham on 14-Jan-2022 transmitting on the same channels as the existing vertical transmissions. The Freeview website gives an ERP of 600W for this HP beam. The VP ERP has also been increased from 100W to 200W. A quick survey of the rooftop aerials around Seaham would suggest a 50/50 split between Bilsdale and Pontop Pike aerials. There were also a few VP aerials pointing at the Seaham relay. |
